Just Eat now recruiting couriers in Ireland

For those looking for a job, or just extra income, working with deliveries can be a good option. Just like Uber Eats and Deliveroo, Just Eat is one of Ireland’s most popular food delivery services, and is recruiting new couriers for its team.

One of the advantages is flexibility, since you choose when you want to work. In addition, the company does not require any specific qualifications, however, it is necessary to use your own vehicle or bicycle to deliver.

Interested parties can apply through this page. You must have:

  • Permission to work legally in Ireland
  • PPS number – Personal Public Service
  • A valid Irish bank account
  • Smartphone (iPhone or Android)
  • A registered bicycle or vehicle

If you are considering making bicycle deliveries but do not yet have one, you can find used bikes in Dublin for around 150 to 250 euros. But be careful, as Dublin is one of the cities with the highest rate of bicycle theft in the world. In addition, companies demand a good line of conduct from cyclists, who must respect rules such as wearing helmets and flashlights on bikes. A good idea is to read the guide of conduct from RSA, the Irish traffic safety authority.

Just Eat recently announced a partnership with McDonald’s to deliver across Ireland, which is expected to dramatically increase demand for drivers. The service already has more than 2100 partner restaurants and the application has been downloaded more than 2 million times since its launch, 5 years ago
