Why not take advantage of the quarantine to learn or improve your English? Dublin language school SEDA College is offering free English classes through its online platform.
Since March 18, a team of eight teachers has been teaching live classes at all levels of English, from the most basic to the most advanced.
Interested parties must register by March 29 through the website. Those who are already students at the school do not need registration.
Video classes are broadcast daily at the following times:
- 09:30 – Beginner
- 10:30 – Basic
- 11:30 – Pre-Intermediate
- 13:30 – Intermediate
- 14:30 – Advanced intermediate
- 15:30 – Advanced
- 16:30 – Review class
- 17:30 – Extra class
The school is one of several educational institutions that are offering free courses and learning materials during the coronavirus pandemic.
Harvard University, USA, has released more than 100 free courses in several areas through its online platform. The University of São Paulo (USP) also made 17 courses available through the Coursera teaching platform.
For those who want to acquire more specific skills, Udemy is offering more than 400 free mini-courses on various topics, such as programming, marketing, design, etc.
