Dublin’s biggest event is the New Year Festival (NYF), which offers music festivals on December 31st and January 1st. The party starts on the 31st, with a matinee at 4 pm, at North Wall Quay. The event will feature Gavin James, Lyra and Brad Heidi.
The matinee is the ideal party for those with children and serves as a preparation for the countdown later. The Blizzards, Tolü Makay, Bradley Marshall, Dara Quilty’s Bangers, Emma Power from 2FM, Katie Phelan, Kingfishr and Rachel Mae Hannon also perform at the same time. These musicians will perform again at 7 pm, in the main event Westlife, on several stages set up for the festival.

After New Year’s Eve, the shows take place again at the Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, from 1am on January 1st. The programming of this event is free and does not need reservations.
The show includes performances by Hothouse Flowers frontman Liam Ó Maonlaí, award-winning concertina player Cormac Begley, violinist and singer Clare Sands and folk singer Lorraine Nash.
