Ryanair looking to Brazil for more airline pilots

Ryanair, the world’s most flown airline, is looking to recruit pilots from Brazil to operate their flights throughout Europe. The airline, which is one of Ireland’s most successful airlines, has already held recruitment events in both Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

One of the reasons the airline is seeking pilots from Brazil is due to an expanded flight schedule, which is proving difficult to schedule with pilots. Due to these difficulties the company has had to cancel some flights recently, which resulted in a huge loss for the company.

How much does Ryanair pay its pilots?

According to Glassdoor, a website covering employee welfare, the average Ryanair Pilot salary is €57,988 per year, with salaries starting from €17,000 in some regions and as high as €175,084 per year for experienced pilots in some regions.

Where can I find out more about becoming a Ryanair pilot?

For those based in Brazil, there are further upcoming roadshows in both Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in May. You can find out more, or register your interest here

The company also has an Instagram account where they activity share details on jobs, recruitment campaigns and opportunities.

Do Ryanair provide training if I don’t have any flying experience?

Ryanair does have a training programme, but you must have flying experience and meet some other requirements to be eligible for taking part. You’ll find more details below:
