Taste of Dublin Returns to Merrion Square

One of the highlights of Dublin’s summer calendar, Taste of Dublin returns to Merrion Square from 11 to 14 June. The festival brings together some of Ireland’s best restaurants, chefs, artisan producers and drinks brands for four days of tastings, demonstrations and entertainment.

Food lovers can expect chef masterclasses, signature dishes from leading Dublin restaurants and plenty of opportunities to discover new Irish producers.

Bloomsday Takes Over the City

Few events are as uniquely Dublin as Bloomsday, the annual celebration of James Joyce’s masterpiece Ulysses.

The festival includes walking tours, theatre performances, readings, exhibitions and lectures across the city. Many participants dress in Edwardian clothing, recreating the atmosphere of Dublin in 1904.

For literature lovers, it remains one of the most distinctive cultural events in Ireland.

A New Summer Wine Festival

Wine enthusiasts have something new to look forward to this year with the Summer Wine Festival.

The event features dozens of wines from around the world, including a growing selection of premium alcohol-free options. Visitors can sample wines from a wide range of regions and grape varieties in a relaxed tasting environment.

Although taking place later in the year, preparations are already underway for Brazil Day Dublin.

Now one of the largest Brazilian cultural celebrations in Ireland, the event showcases Brazilian music, dance, food, arts and community organisations, attracting thousands of visitors annually.
